Global food and beverage producer
Phase 1: volume response handling and assessment centre delivery
A global food and beverage producer restructured its UK manufacturing base, in order to drive the transition from a traditional organisational structure to a more integrated one. This involved the introduction of a new operations management job role, resulting in 50 immediate vacancies across eight UK factories and three divisions. Techsearch was appointed the response handler to pre-screen, interview and assess thousands of candidate responses. This was obtained from a huge array of specialist, local, regional and national advertising media, as well as highly specialist online sources. We facilitated weekly assessment centres, achieving a 1:3 interview to offer ratio, delivering within a limited budget under stringent timescales.
Phase 2: volume headhunt campaign
As an extension of this recruitment drive, our brief was to source the business leaders of the future – ‘Top Talent’ – in order to drive the UK operations and manufacturing succession plan. Techsearch was retained to headhunt 10 manufacturing managers from direct competitors in order to support this company’s mission to maintain market leading status in the food and beverage sector.”
International recruitment and response handling
A top 20 FTSE global FMCG company acquired another instantly recognisable global brand. As a result, a European R&D centre was formed, resulting in an immediate recruitment drive for 60+ scientific, technical and NPD professionals.
Techsearch was appointed as both managed agent and international response handler. To feed the client’s natural entrepreneurial and international culture we were tasked with sourcing specialist skills from around the globe. Techsearch designed, delivered and implemented a strategic global advertising campaign, supported by targeted headhunts, to deliver this critical campaign on time and within budget.
Executive search and selection assignment in Eastern Europe
A global pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company were faced with the difficult challenge of appointing an Eastern European Regulatory Affairs Director.
Techsearch was retained as the search and selection specialist to deliver this critical appointment. Through global market research, market intelligence/data gathering, and relationship building, we identified and approached specific individuals from target competitor companies that could deliver this high profile role. A successful appointment was made on time, within budget.”
International graduate campaign
Techsearch was retained as the sole supplier to recruit for an R&D and supply chain graduate programme on behalf of a FTSE 20 business, as the local talent pool was simply not meeting client’s high expectations. After Techsearch consultation, the revised strategy was to approach the highest calibre international graduates and bring them to the UK for assessment.
The Techsearch Graduate team sourced, pre-selected, assessed and short-listed a number of international candidates in a short period of time. After facilitating and assessing with client line managers, Techsearch delivered this volume recruitment campaign on time, within budget, at a 2:1 interview to offer ratio.
